Locally known as cab de ram, it is considered one among the most beautiful beaches of Goa.This beautiful place is located in South Goa, situated at the distance of 28 km from Margao.
The beach is lined by a grove of palm trees at the back with a steep cliff having rocky flat top.A set of crude steps lead down to the beach.To the left,overlooking the beach is the Portuguese Cabo de Rama Fort. The view of the beach from the fort is truly breathtaking!
Adding to the heavenly beauty of this place, to the right of the beach lies a small freshwater stream flowing into the sea. The stream is shallow enough for one to wade across.The palm trees offer shade which makes it a pleasant location for picnickers.
